Expected MAT Exam Date 

The MAT exam date for the first session of 2026 has been announced on the official AIMA website. The official schedule for the February-March cycle is: 

 

  • MAT Exam Date for PBT (Paper-Based Test)- Sunday, March 1, 2026
  • MAT Exam Date for CBT (Computer-Based Test)- Sunday, March 8, 2026

 

You can choose to take either or both modes in the same session. 

MAT Exam Eligibility Criteria 2026

The MAT exam eligibility criteria are flexible, allowing a wide range of students from different backgrounds to apply. From graduates to final year students, or working professionals, your age does not make a boundary here. 

 

Criteria Checklist: 

 

  • AIMA does not set a minimum mark requirement to appear for the MAT exam. You just need to pass your bachelor’s degree. 
  • No mandatory working experience required. 
  • You must have a graduation mark sheet or a provisional certificate if you are a final-year student. 
  • Needs either an Aadhaar Card, a Voter ID, a Passport, or a Driving License.

Step-by-Step Registration Process 

Step 1

Visit the official MAT AIMA website and go to the Register option to log in to the site. Enter name, email ID, mobile number, city, and password, and verify yourself. 

Step 2

After successful account creation, enter all necessary information like personal details, academic qualifications, graduation details, and communication address. Make sure all details match your government documents. 

Step 3

Choose your MAT exam type (PBT/CBT), test city, upload necessary documents, and pay registration fees. Review all details once again and submit the application.

PBT or CBT: ₹2200

Both PBT & CBT: ₹3800

Step 4

After a successful application submission, download the confirmation page for future reference. Remember the login details to re-login & download the admit card.
